Zap, Pow, Bang, could it be? Yes a legitimate non profit organization using the superhero gimmick correctly.
The Brooklyn Superhero Supply Company is located at 372 5th Ave. Brooklyn NY. 11215.
This looks to be a very fun and campy store. From cape testers, to fantasy products, all proceeds go into 826NYC.
Yes heroes do not get too excited as this store is a front. Behind a secret bookcase is where the real action takes place. 826NYC is a non profit group that helps inner city children ages 6-18 develop creative writing skills. They even have a functioning printing press to publish the stories the kids create. Very cool!
This gets my full rating and support of using the Superhero brand the correct way.
So where's the bald self-serving spandex-clad attention whore with a fancy over-polished car (see: 'penile inferiority complex') and a loaded handgun? I'm starting to think this has nothing to do with Super Hero at all!
ReplyDeleteAll jokes aside, though, I do commend these people for their great work and hope they get to as many kids as possible.
Afterward they should do society a real favor and shoot MTV. In the face.

I agree with the MTV part.
